Recommending Adoption of Transit Master Plan to COIC Board

The Regional Public Transportation Advisory Committee (RPTAC) and Transit Master Plan Project Steering Committee )PSC) will convene virtually on Wednesday, August 19 from 1:30-3:30 PM to review final Transit Master Plan documents and recommend the plan for consideration of adoption by the COIC Board. Packet materials including the Transit Master Plan Adoption Draft and Public Engagement Summary are available to download HERE.

If you are interested in submitting public comments for the 8/19 RPTAC meeting, send them by email to outreach@coic.org by 5 pm on Tuesday, August 18. Contact Derek Hofbauer at dhofbauer@coic.org or 541-548-9534 if you have questions or to request materials in alternate formats. The Zoom meeting information is provided HERE.

Draft Transit Master Plan - Available for Review

The Draft Transit Master Plan is currently available for review. Check the Project Documents page to download a copy.

The Project Steering Committee will be reviewing the draft on July 15th, 2020 and voting on a recommendation to the COIC Board on August 19th, 2020. The COIC Board will be considering adoption of the plan on September 3rd, 2020.

Help CET Prioritize Future Transit Projects

Participate in Our Virtual Open House and take our Short Survey

CET's Transit Master Plan now includes proposed transit improvements for each community across our region. This is your opportunity to weigh in and tell us which projects are the most important. Provide your feedback on topic areas for which you are interested via our online Virtual Workshop survey by February 24 to be entered to win great prizes, including Hydro Flask water bottles! CET progresses to the last round of local TAC meetings

CET is meeting with the local technical advisory committees over the next couple weeks, detailed in this press release, to fine tune the services and capital investments proposed for each community within its service area.

The public outreach process continues to the second round

As the project team evaluates public input from January on their priorities and needs for CET services, they are preparing for the second round of outreach coming up in March.

Join us on the following days/times at the locations listed below. Try your hand at short-term planning! Weigh in on CET's strategy for implementing previously-developed projects over the next few years. Talk about where existing services should be enhanced and new service should be prioritized in the short-term.

CET Kicks Off Start to their Transit Master Plan

CET has kicked off the start to their long range transit plan. This plan will look at transit needs for Central Oregon for the next twenty years but also guide transit service enhancements and investments for the next 5-10 years.
